16-14 to 16-17, Canada doesn't have mental strength to win this match, Argentina is taking this
Missed counterattack at 21-20 will cost Canada taking this match...
EDIT: Immediately Uriarte scoring ace
-
Very winnable game for Canada, they really dropped the ball there
-
Exactly, I doubt Chile will miss this opportunity
I thought Venezuela might be able to handle Chile but haven't watched them in a while.
-
This is the reason I subscribed to Volleyballworldtv.
I want to enjoy volleyball without the hassle of searching for good quality streams.
not available in the US.
i missed match point bc they interrupted for an ad. great job, OC.
-
Good news for China, maybe Canada will send backup players tomorrow
-
Canada vs Cuba next year

Venezuela is rock bottom after Pinerua's death... Chile will cruise to Tokyo, only serious competitior could be Colombia if they gather all the best but still even then Chile is clear cut fav
-
We're (probably) going to Tokyo Lovely battle with the canadians, both teams are extremely close in level, reflecting what the ranking says.
I don't know about Chile, Venezuela is difficult to gauge as they don't show up to almost any tournament and usually they are missing players for some reasons.
NORCECA qualifiers could be tough for Canada seeing that the cuban kids are giving work to Iran + they will have Simon, Hierrezuelo and Sánchez Brozhulev. I feel Canada "needed" today's win more than us in a sense. Still think Canada will make it.
-
Cuba is a team you just can't count out. Iran needs to win this game because I couldn't see Russia getting beaten by Cuba.

Nostradamus can never foresee this happening.

Iran doesn't care much about this tournament as they know it will be impossible to beat Russia in St. Petersburg. That's why they played 1000% in VNL and they will seek ticket to Tokyo on Asian qualies.
-
So, 2-0 Cuba. Did not see this coming...
-
Iran will now comeback and win this
-
Podraščanin is included into roster, Simić is out
Grbić said he's basically going there just to be with the team and most likely won't play.
-
Just as expected once Iran finally woke up Cuba had no chance.
-
Hoag is a really great coach, but imo Canada was playing better with Antiga. Canada with Antiga used to play with more options in attack.
-
it took two sets for Iran to finally wake up and do something. but obviously they are not that prepared for this competition, they even cancelled friendlies with Bulgaria and came to Russia directly.
I would be OK with "not taking OGQ seriously" if I knew that's part of a plan but they don't have a plan. their plan is like "let's see what happens today, then we will think about tomorrow" still nobody knows which team they will send to the Asian Championships.
-
Man, AU leads SRB! Not sure why. Two lefties!!!

Maybe I used too harsh words but I heard this plan 2 months ago, to focus on VNL and Asian OG qualies rather than on St. Peters pool from person close to a team.
