I also don't think any NT activity will happen this summer. Things might be already getting a little better in a few countries but the outbreak didn't reach its peak in many countries yet. While governments are extending lock-down deadlines every week It is impossible to plan a volleyball organization.

lets call it a day and cancel 2020. Realistically August 2021 is the earliest competition which is hell the Olympics. Even until early 2020, US will still be practicing social distancing.

I think this year a VNL with a different format might be a good idea…
One country, 10-12 team round robin, like World-Cup, no spectators, in September..
Obviously teams moving from one country to another every week seems unlikely but you
can handle players safety much more easily in one location…
I think it will be good for the community in general, boost up morale,
Some say this virus will be around for 2 years so you have to start from somewhere...

It's past the ending of April and still no official announcement. They must be trying real hard to make this happen and finding all possible solutions otherwise they would've announced that it is cancelled already.
As much as I love volleyball and would like to watch some games this summer, the players/staffs health and safety is the most important right now. Some deserve a much needed break.
Edit: Looks like a decision hasn't been made yet and is expected in the coming weeks (they said that last month).

had no choice but to cancel because of safety and probably the lack of uniform actions (across all of them) in many of the countries participating. Plus not even including flights or ability to fly in and out of countries.
