Those service errors from Italy after 20 points saved Slovenia. Hope they can regain the momentum they had earlier in the 2nd set.

Slovenia is playing as yesterday: good transitions, covering well, touching many balls and Ropret is involving all his players. But indeed, they look a bit tired. Specially in the long rallies.

For Italy, the key is that Michieletto isnt playing like during all the previous matches. He is the target of Slovenian serves and Alessandro isnt delivering. As well as aside those last 2 good serves, he is also struggling in that department. Sure, he is just 19 and this is the most important match of his career, it is normal the nerves could appear.

It is time for the Italiana "veterans" to show up. But from all the spikers (not counting MBs), who is the veteran?

I feel like Cebulj is underperforming compare to his VNL display. Though he suffered in the finals there too, I expect better of him.

Ropret indeed lost his head in the middle of the second set. Let's see if Vincic experience could turn this set.

Cebulj is mostly tipping, he looks really tired and no longer can maintain power on his spikes in long rallies

Galassi is even missing the float serves He reminds me the Polish female MB who almost always misses all her serves. Polanska is her name, Im not sure.

Still hope Slovenia manage to turn this around, they really deserve to win gold can;t imagine getting silver again especially after that epic win by the Poles

No matter what the result will be, the biggest reaping from this young Italy team is their blocking.
