EuroVolley 2021-Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria & Croatia

  • I remember Efimienko being a filler in top Polish teams years ago. She has aged so well... She's definitely best Polish MB right now <3She's also adorably cute

Turkey was so well today, I'm speechless...

I like her when she is preparing for the attack, her moves look like a bit ..... robotic:lol: but her blocking in this ECH is just perfect

  • Has Turkey ever won a gold medal in a major tournament? I only recall gold in European Games and Mediterranean Games, but these are not considered "majors".

Otherwise, this ECH would be a golden chance indeed.

No. We have played two final at ECH.

  • The match against France will be Maja's 300th appearance for the national team. This is her 8th EuroVolley.

  • Congrats both teams. Poland has huge potential with a lot of talented youngsters. They just need a good coach. I am quite sorry for Sytsiak.

I am proud of my team. After Tokio disaster, our reaction is perfect so far. Hope we will win over Serbia and Italy, and get a golden what we are waiting for a long time.

Well, even if I am an Italian fan, imo Turkey would deserve it. Especially Eda Erdem , who is the true goddess of volley. A great champion beyond any border.

  • off topic

just wanna know has maja wear any other number than 10?

In NT no, but in clubs yes, many others, 18 for example in few (Eczacibasi, Piacenza, Chemik, Wroclaw) 17 in Vakifbank,....

  • I like to apologise for the awkward posts the other day, i keep imploring my drunk self to please not to go on interwebz and post stuff, a**h*** doesn't listen. Drunk at 9:30 am? yea sounds terrible, but a sound excuse, long story not to bore you with, pls take with a pinch of salt don't judge me :)

I will go back delete but the cringe might be too strong to face, so no promises.

  • Some observations on Turkey; Where is this consistency coming from? i have never seen the team like this in years of tournaments. It's like something happened to them in the Olympics, a forging in fire like in a fantasy novel and something new is born.

By now we should have had a 3-2 or two, win or a loss vs a minnow, or a dramatic collapase from 2-0 up, mental drama and ups and downs but nope so far. Just domination in 7/7, there is a determination in this team, an intangible there and i like this new attitude.

Also, Tugba is a timely and a fortunate upgrade from Meliha, no question, she is better at everything by a margin AND can attack and contribute to scoring consistently, that position has been a big boost.

The team has actually slowly peaked as in all the pieces are coming together at the right time, for example as in Baladin playing better, and Cansu not bad by far, but her sets have become better, by the way her serving has been another nice surprise.

And Meryem Boz "Blue Thunder" (lol) is back!

in the semis we'll have a realistic shot if this team turns up, against still clear favourites though, hard task clearly. Doable but only if we carry this level of play and consistency

Seems to me that Cansu plays better in the absence of Naz (see 2019 VNL where Turkey almost won the gold medal and Cansu was chosen the best setter).

  • waiting for the match

Seeing russia with a bunch of youngster

But Arina gonna be at serve against sylla

  • Egonu on fire from the start :box::box:

Only her working on Italian side:gone:

  • Egonu already 5 points and Italy didn’t even reach 10points overall :sos:
