  • For Supreme, Ajcharapron isn't listed in the 1st leg. And for 3BB, I think they will play Sirikanda as OH.

  • joy16 do you know if Pinyada (young OP) is part of the 3bb club? I've seen her play with 3BB's youth team during a few games, but then during the local thai girls super series, she played with another school..so I'm confused, is she originally from 3bb, but recently transferred out?

Btw, I think she is a better OP than Sirikanda and kewlim(sorry not sure the spelling of her name) when I saw her play those few games with 3BB's youth team. Though, they weren't bad either, I just liked her better. Lol

  • Diamond Food VC: (a part)

Onuma (OH), Jarasporn (MB), Malika (OP), Amporn (MB), Tiana (OH, USA)

According to the rumor, the matches of Thai League 19/20 will be broadcast in Youtube.

I've never heard her name before. What's the tournament she represented 3BB Nakhonnont? If it is for Princess Sirindhorn's Cup, she may be the girls from another school.

some of the matches will be broadcasted live on TV (mostly prime time matches). All of the matches will be live on YouTube though.

Are we using this thread for Thailand league as well? :)

If necessary, the new post of Thai League 19/20 can also be created. This post will "return" and focus on Thai NT in 2020.

The girl i'm talking about, she played with 3bb for the ASEAN school games 2019 and Sealect Tuna tournament that same year. She wears shirt #6. She is about the same height and body type as Sirikanda, but a bit more muscular looking.

  • Former head coach, Duan Danai returns as head coach of the Thai women NT.(he resigned after not making to Tokyo Olympics)

I'm glad and disappointed at the same time. Glad for the NT to have a head coach again, but disappointed the association didn't try else where for a different coach(whether it be local or foreign) that could possibly change things up a bit. They really need a coach that can help improve the blocking, serving and receiving department of the team. Thai NT have the weakest blocking and serving of all the top 4 Asian teams. And this coach's tactic and techniques are't the best either, all the other teams pretty much know how the Thai plays with him. At this rate, I don't think Thai NT will catch up with Korea even after KYK retires.

The old coach before retiring after Rio Olympics qualifications, was way better in my opinion, but he won't return as he is busy with his family and life now.

  • Former head coach, Duan Danai returns as head coach of the Thai women NT.(he resigned after not making to Tokyo Olympics)

He resigned last month and returns this month?

  • He resigned last month and returns this month?

yep, he voluntarily resigned after the disappointment in the failure to make it to Tokyo...I guess he was persuaded to come back and give it one more shot??? But like Pader said, he hasn't really brought anything much to the table and other coaches might have been a better option. I just don't know...maybe the other two Thai members might chime in and have more info to share.....

  • A lot of fans are frustrated with this decision. It’s like we keep doing the same thing expecting different outcomes. I wouldn’t go too far to say this coach is bad. He is one of coach team and brings the Thai team to this point. But it’s obvious that this is as far as he can go :|

For me, I would like to see all the senior players retire. I love them dearly and would be sad not seeing them on court anymore. But if we don’t get a new coach, at least we should bring new players in. There’s no point for the senior players to play in NT anymore. That Olympics dream has gone.

New players may weaken the NT for a while. But we’re already pretty weak so...:sos:

  • Year after Olympics is the best year to make a generation change. Most other teams would be doing the same as well so it wouldnt make Thai team look bad. To me, generation change works best if 1 or 2 veteran players from the starting team would stay with the team to lead the rest of youngsters, just like Eda and Naz are doing this in Turkish NT
