Time to move to Asia for a month
Here's an easier to read schedule https://www.nbcolympics.com/schedule/sport/volleyball
Lucia Fresco is missing but I guess she hasn't recovered from her shoulder injury yet
Does Emilce Sosa not play anymore? She was always one of their best players as I remember.
Argentina will be playing Croatia (in Croatia) (leaving next Saturday) before heading to Japan

She's playing club in Brazil next year.... maybe she's just not in favor? She wasn't in the IOQT squad
mimi just come back this last season wanting to be in OG,she was playing argentinian league
Maybe she wasn't in shape
so the winning streak of POOL B will.continue? Since 92
Serena Williams said she's not going because her daughter can't come. (slightly off topic) but I haven't heard Foluke make any concerns. (credit, her son wasn't with her during the VNL, unlike Naz)
Oh my. That was too sudden specially now that Russia is in short supply of OHs. At this rate, only Voronkova is left as the OH with the most stable reception and that's worrying. I wish she could have chosen to retire after OG. 😫

I'm going to guess she wasn't on the Tokyo roster and that's why she's announced it.
I dont think it would make sense to compete for a spot and then just retire before the Olympics.
Turkey now that they're not the only team in Pool B with an OH mess

But according to her she wasn't kicked out from the team.
So the OHs for Tokyo will probably be Voronkova, Arina, Smirnova and someone else? Is there someone else in the gym, that didn't participate in the VNL, but is in consideration for the Olympics? Will Busato take a DS, a 2nd libero?
