Tandara was not playing good in this Olympics imo. She didnt push Brazil till now. So IMO Brazil deserves to be in Semis and i expect them todo their best today. But imo this can be really sad for this others. All hard work can be unapreciated.

This must be so hard for the girls since the game is just some hours ahead, but Brazil has 2 ways of dealing with it. One is let this let them down, disturb them and make them underperform and the other one is to unite even more the team and play for her. If they face it with the second option, I think it will be very hard to stop them.
Let’s see and hope everything goes well.I also go for the second option. If there is a team that really knows how to deal with this kind of unexpected challenges, is Brazil. One of the most resilient teams in vball.
Regarding Tandara: I dont think that there could be an intentional doping from her side. I'd stake my life on it. Hope there would be a doping counter test very soon. I read here that she was dealing with depression some months ago, maybe some pills she was taking had a forbidden substance by mistake. Or maybe some pills (creams) for losing weight. It has already happened in womens vball.

Thankfully Brazil is one of the solid teams with a good line-up (rather than relying on single star players) so I hope they can pull through even stronger in her stead

She was suspended because the Brazilian Doping Committee found somethig illegal in her doping exams, but athletes have the right to do the test again before a final decision. That's why there's no official suspension yet. The results of the second test will therefore serve either to help Tandara or to confirm that she tested positive indeed.
