Argentina has already gotten a bronze medal. It was in Seoul 1988 (against Brazi). In Sydney 2000, they finished 4th, after beating Brazil in QFs. Lost the semis against Russia and bronze medal against Italy.
This is the first ever SF for France.
Btw. Hugo Conte was in the team which got the bronze medal as well as in Sydney 2000. He would like his son surpass his Olympic achievements.

Kudos to France, such a great team.
The most annoying in all those Polish loses at the Olympics is that we don't play our 100%. And I'm not saying it to downplay huge French success, I'm genuienly happy for them - it's shocking how our game gets miserable as soon as we're starting playing at the Olympics, four years after four years after four years. Our block was non-existent, and when we won WCH it was our biggest strength, that made a difference today.

Congrats to France! This team deserved a good placement in a big tournament after so many failures, but I can't deny I'd like to see Ngapeth flop over and over again - just can't stand him.
As for Poland, I don't really see this as a big surprise.
Since Leon arrived they have not won anything, and haven't really built a cohesive team IMO. Additionally, they don't have a good history in OL... -
