Him and the nervous presence of Volkov really made the team tentative. Once they were replaced every one started working. They are also starting to read the OTB attacks of Ngapeth and now FRA only have a single scoring option.

Podlesnykh deserves a mention as he helped o stabilize the reception/defense and coupled with good serves ( Similar to MIkahilov - rarely an ace but often one that turn into a pass B)
