Transfer Rumors & Discussion (2020/2021)

    Pulling Gamova from Russia to me seems like a bigger trouble than pulling Egonu from Italy, I might be wrong though. However FB did that in past with support of Acibadem, so I guess transfer of Egonu is possible. I wonder how Vargas feels when she hears these news about Egonu and Boskovic for next season.

    Eeeh, I honestly don't think it's going to be that hard, she said more than once that she would like to try to play on a different league. I don't know if it's going to be next season, but I'm pretty sure that sooner or later she will end up in Turkey

    according to some FB fans, Bricio and Kelsey were told their contracts were not going be renewed during mid season.


    Kelsey would help any team she would join but system in Fenerbahce is a faulted one and their lack of dependable OPP is hurting them a lot. Changing Busa with Kelsey won’t help them a lot, we have seen it last season where Kelsey was not able to contribute a lot since she was a second libero.

    Are they gone perform better ? Yes.


    Are they gone achive something more, like winning Turksih League or CL ?? NO.

    But I agree with this. Thats why I want them to play with Busa-Robinson-Mihajlovic. At least they should try and see

    I prefer to see Robinson - Busa as outside hitter duo and Mihajlovic as opposite. On the other hand, they could use Robinson as receiving opposite. She already played that position a few times in Vakifbank to replace Sloëtjes, when Zhu Tingn wasn't able to receive properly .

    Robinson will be OH for Fener. She will bench Busa. She is so much better than her as an L2. Now that Vargas and Brankica aren’t injured, they‘ll be able to perform better. Remember. They beat Vakif with Robinson-Brankica-Melissa.


    This is a move to improve their chances in CL and Turkish league.

    And if she doesn’t want to play and insists in not playing libero for USA, what makes you think she wants to play LIB abroad? That doesn’t make sense.

    TBH you are ovethinking important fact, that despite all your unconditionally love for USA players, Terzic is still Head Coach of Fenerbahce and his opinion is much more valuable for this situation and for sure he won't agree with you so easily and benched Buša, for sure at least Buša is far from the problem in Fenerbahce.

    That makes him a more terrible club coach then...


    It's a no-brainer. If Kelsey got Fener's interest, it only means something isn't working for them.


    Vargas? She's practically 2nd best player of the league.


    Brankica? She's getting her groove back and is the only reason Fener got into double digits against Conegliano.


    What will take them to the next level? A stable floor defender, passer and a much better attacker to elevate Fener's offense. That's Robinson. And that's not even a hit against Busa since she's obviously not a bad player. But what holds Fener back is that all-around player who will take the load from Branki and Melissa.


    That's Robinson.
