    Venue:

    Competition Info:

(Due to the Korean Baseball League finishing their season late than usual this year, KOVO and the TV broadcasters have move the start time of the V-League matches).
    • From Saturday, October 31st 2020 and onward, the remaining RS matches will start at 19:00 KST on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; and the start time of 16:00 KST for matches on Saturday, Sunday and South Korean Public holidays (Christmas Day, New Year Day, and Seotdal Geumeum).

    • The RS consists of 6 rounds, a total of 90 matches.

    • Each team will play a total of 6 matches against each of the other 5 teams during the RS (3 Home matches + 3 Away matches); a total of 30 matches for each team during the RS.
    • The RS champion will automatically qualify for the best of 5-match Championship series (Ch.).
    • The RS runner-up and 3rd place teams will qualify for the best of 3-match Playoffs series (PO).

  • I compiled the salaries of all the Rank A players into a colourful table for your enjoyment.

    Korean V-League Women’s Division Salaries 2020/2021

    Salaries are in Million KRW

Captains are indicated with (C) and highest-earning players per position are in bold.

Salaries from KOVO Athlete Registration (2020.06.30)

  • If you want to know how much money each club spent on their respective players, I got you covered with another fancy table.

    Korean V-League Women’s Division Club Spendings 2020/2021

Remember that the salary cap consists of 1.8 Billion KRW in Salary alone with the additional 0.5 Billion KRW from Options, adding up to a maximum of 2.3 Billion KRW.

Salaries from KOVO Athlete Registration (2020.06.30)

To top it of I have another piece of information which is the TOP 10 highest-earning players from the 2019/2020 Season. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find more numbers since the KOVO website didn't have any old salaries in their public database. Hit me up when anyone of you happens to stumble over more information.

Nontheless I think it is interesting to compare last year's salaries to the current ones since the salary cap was bumped up quite a bit from 1.4 Billion to 2.3 Billion, hence the big increases in salaries of the top players.

  • Hey i heard one of foreign player kelsie paynes and her agent are having trouble with her contract she has existing and valid contract from European club and korean club. FIVB still reviewing.

Yeah, I was made aware that Kelsie Payne had earlier signed for Schwerin in the Transfer News thread after I posted the draft result. I haven't kept track with what was happening with Kelsie Payne. Please keep us posted if you hear more news about this or the ruling made by FIVB.

  • i was wondering about Pink Spider libero.. I thought that will be their "weakness", after Kim HR retired.. I didn't know that they signed up Park Sang Mi.. She was good when played for Altos..

I think KYK will attract more "views" for the league from local as well as abroad...

  • i was wondering about Pink Spider libero.. I thought that will be their "weakness", after Kim HR retired.. I didn't know that they signed up Park Sang Mi.. She was good when played for Altos..

Libero Park Sang-Mi moved from IBK Altos to Heungkuk as a reward player because of setter Cho Song-Hwa FA transfer to IBK.

I think Park Sang-Mi is good too. Her reception was poor last season but if her reception stat can return to what it was like in 2018-2019 season (44.01% eff.) than Heungkuk should be fine.
