    So what? are you going to erase that fact just because you want to forget it. You cannot select and pick just because some shit happened recently than others you hypocritical freak. You don't get to erase those things just because other horrible stuff happened in the 90s. History is history

I might have let the obvious provocation of bringing up Yugoslavia in 2000 slide because it was (at least somewhat) relevant to the prior discussion of the IOC and their rules but you doubled down on it with your next post and then told a user that their “brain can’t process the information.”


    To everyone: I get disagreeing and whatever else but the fact that some posts on here seem to show genuine hatred towards other users just baffles me. You like different volleyball teams, get over it.

    As someone of Armenian-Kurdish descent I find it highly disrespectful to weaponize all these lost lives for something so petty as volleyball rivalry. Really all countries were built on genocide at the end of the day, most modern ethno-states are unnaturally formed as people lived among each other rather than being dominant in large areas.


    Everyone here has had disagreements here and there but for real some of y'all really hold grudges like you see these people irl every day, can people just chill on being so mad? Because they are persecuting the Uyghur miniority there on a considerable scale, presumably far more serious than Serbia did in Srebrenica during the 1990s. The Uyghur genocide has been classified as the most significant coerced confinement of an ethnoreligious minority since World War II.


    In January 2021, the United States Department of State declared China's actions as genocide and Czech Republic condemned the Chinese government's treatment of Uyghurs as "severe human rights abuses" or crimes against humanity. Despite those issues, in addition to the tension in Taiwan/Chinese Taipei, China is allowed to participate in the Games while Russia has been excluded. I find this to be hypocritical and incoherent by the ruling organization, IOC.


    Apparently China is using the Uyghurs there as so called "guinea pigs" for the testing and experimenting of chips in the brain. Hence the Uyghurs are walking around with devices in their brains which enable the authorities to keep them under non-stop surveillance and other even more frightening things.
