The final in Challenge Cup is between Allianz Milano(Ishikawa and Piano) and Ziraat Bankasi(Ter Maat and Atanasov) for those who are curious about it.

Ziraat is leading 2-1. That is a surprise for me.

Milano didn't have a lot of rest before the game.
Wish Ziraat can maintain this level but the way to do it is complicated if Ter Maat is contained and the team serving starts to collapse.

Matteo Piano is so hot

What do you think of Atanasov?

What do you think of Atanasov?
Honestly almost every one on the court is hot
Patry, Atanasov, Bedirhan...

Too late for Arslan to change tactics. Wish Ziraat had another setter who is a lot less fiery and more conservative but still efficient.
It's still great they made the game go to a tiebreak. They can probably win if they are more aggressive offensively and be more attentive with all the little deets when defending.

couldn’t agree more. It is also hard to root for him as he scolds his teammates instead of comfort them. He is a bad example of captain. He cannot handle pressure himself as well yet.

Those lips!😍

Just hope this Challenge Cup game won’t affect their preparation & performance of their final quarterfinal match against Perugia. That Superlega game is far more important.

They should have won in second match and proceed to semi finals. With this tight schedule, it is going to be hard for them. I hope they could manage it.

Can't blame him, Atanasov and Bedirhan 🔥🔥
I guess I'm in love with Piano. He can get it anytime anywhere

I have a feeling Zenit will finally get the coveted win against Moscow today.. Mark this post
edit: Oops the game starts tomorrow
At least we can watch Zaksa x Kazan today with no interruptions lol

Congrats Milano! What a fight and what spirit! They were leading conf the second set, for a 2-0 lead, but then they just totally collapsed: no block, not good organisation, Sbertoli looked super lost, as well as Ishiwawa. Ziraat played really really good (Ter Maat), aside Milano's mistakes. The trend continued for whole third set + beginnig of the 4th. But then, suddenly, Ziraat was the team which stopped playing, with so so so silly mistakes, not done during the whole match. In the clutch set!
That way to just come out of the grave pumped Milano spirit and well, the tie-break was just a monologue.

Poletaev still missing. Zenit will need Kliuka at his top form to challenge Dinamo today
-
Podlesnykh is playing super reliable. I would take him as 3rd OH in Tokyo
-
Zenit needs to show more if intends to reverse this!
Both Podlesnykh and Semyshev played well this first set. They are definitely on the run for the OH's spots and I think it's between Podlesnykh/Bogdan and Semyshev/ Voronkov duo to similar characteristics. -
