I can't see Slovenia improving after this year.
Their generation is going to be on a slow decline to becoming average like what happened to Germany and Bulgaria unless they find a top opposite who can hit OoS better than Stern and even finding an Urnaut replacement is going be crucial to maintain their level.
I guess the final 4 is the wrong playoff format made by FIVB. I probably wouldn't mind a QF instead atleast for this year.
USA is such a big miss this year. Russia as well. Serbia is always reliable to cause some upsets. Slovenia being too green and even lucky to be perfectly honest made the semis unbalanced as they flopped so badly in the playoffs.
The Regular Season was fun, full of surprises and energy but the finale is shaping up to be a snoozefest. I expected so much more.
Hope the final still delivers but I have to admit I really don't care anymore.

I agree. Slovenia players are not getting any younger, Cebulj was just a shadow of himself. There is a 19yo Slovenian player forgot his name, I think he is a good prospect for their NT.
