I don't think anyone seriously expects Egonu to be a "flop", I just think it's questionable if she'll do better than Haak.

From a volleyball POV Vakifbank should not have won that match The middles did less than 10% of the team's attacks and were basically invisible throughout the whole match. Cansu didn't do anything spectacular either, the individual class of Haak and Gabi plus Aylin and Bartsch in reception/defense was enough to win. But then, of course both teams made it hard for each other to look good thanks to their great tactical preparation.

I think that Egonu Will do wonders in Vakif.

But só Far Haak was not a problem for Vakif and she seems to like the time on Vakifbank and the team. Really Sorry for her.

Congrats to Fenerbahce for a briliiant match. They have been fighting hard (set 3 who?) and really gave Vakifbank a fight. In the end, Vakifbank just worked better in a clucth moment.

I missed the entire match thinking it was at 17.00 (glad everyone enjoyed it ) was really hoping for fener to win, but it was a fun tie-break to watch, and i hope Gabi will be ok. Congrats to Vakıf and Fener, and thanks for a great match!
