They hired Kasiely to replace Michelle, who's moving to Osasco.

No rumours about her yet. But I have a feeling that she's leaving, especially if we consider the (low) level of the other OH of the main teams. I think she might have offers from other clubs (e.g. Minas still need someone like her to replace Kasiely).
-
Voloch said that Ariane has an offer from Praia.
The management of the career of these young girls is simply terrible. After her first good season, why moving to Praia to bench for Martínez in the beginning of a new Olympic cycle? She should have been offered to clubs where she could at least try to fight for a spot in the starting six (e.g. Sesc Flamengo, Sesi Bauru). The girl is already 25, so it is not as if she could afford sitting on bench for ages to learn how to play volleyball and then start playing somewhere.
I admire girls like Diana, Lorena and Karina, who played good and received many offers but declined them all to keep playing as a starter in an intermediate club.
-
If she decides to follow Mesquita's step and spend just one season on the bench, I think it's fine.. But that isn't usually what happens... I like her quite a lot, now she will be a bench-warmer

At this point of her career, even one season in the bench can compromise her development. Ariane played well only for one season so far and nothing more than that. She has a lot to prove and she's already 25. That's why I think this is a case of bad career management. Mesquita's case is different because she's four years younger.
I know those are different times but I feel weird seeing Ariane as a prospect at 25 when Sheilla, for example, was becoming an olympic champion at this same age. Youth categories and clubs must do better - and do better together.

Minas confirmed Júlia Kudiess, Luiza Vicente and newcomer Kisy.

voloch said that megan don't renew with minas and they are looking to an european OH a turkish one
Well i wonder who will be ? Cause in turkish best one are closed
Ercan? Did she renew with thy? Ilkin as I know stay at GS and the rest as fatma or saliha are really weak
In general all turkish oh are mid level so idk what minas is thinking
Unless they bring oszou, that will be the best move

Ozsoy is the only high-level Turkish OH available. Yet, I don't think she's the best option. I think De La Cruz is a more balanced OH that would fit the system Minas has put together.

I kinda knew/guessed Neriman might move to Brazil. I think she can do well there. Receive would be a question mark but IMO she can handle it

I like her, and I think she'll be good in terms of attack, especially attacking out of system sets. This season Minas had no reliable player in this regard, and Ozsoy would have contributed a lot.
But Minas' reception was terrible in the playoffs, and I was expecting them to bring someone more qualified in this specific skill. My concern is that the team lost Kasiely to Praia and hasn't hired any good OH specialised in back row skills. And my concern is that Neriman won't contribute much in this regard, especially because since 2017, when she moved to Japan, she hasn't participated much in the reception line. Anyways, I think Minas will be fine - teams around here are building weaker rosters.
-
I'm actually quite pleased if it's Neriman lol Minas seems to be a good environment and I think she'd fit the team quite well. If we consider that Megan was never known for her reception and that she wasn't active for years before moving to Minas, I doubt Neriman can be a downgrade.
If only Gözde was still playing... I wanted to watch her play in Brazil so bad lmao
-
If I'm not wrong, Gözde once said she received an offer from Brazil and she regret that she didn't accepted it. It might be Özge as well
-
It was Ozge who said that I think she had an offer from Sesc when they had a hard time finding a new setter.
-
Neriman is very close with Nicola so that could be a factor for her decision but she also stated that she lost all of her investments during her marriage and divorce and has to make a lot of money again so I am not sure if Brazil is the right place to make money at the moment. I wouldn’t be surprised if she stays in Asia.
-
How did she lose ALL of her investments?!

no idea but she kept repeating that you shouldn’t believe others, they are not what they appear on the outside and she shouldn’t have trusted her husband. I believe it has something to do with her husband.

yikes

Drussyla has officially left Sesc-Flamengo: Drussyla se despede do Sesc RJ Fla: "Saio decepcionada"
It's your typical "I'm leaving, some bad things happened, some people did me wrong but I'm grateful yada-yada". She ends the message saying she feels more mature and ready for the future. We'll have to see. I just hope she can regain her old form and play well again. At 25 yo, after what happened, I don't know about her future in the NT, but I'd love to watch her be one of the team's OHs again.
