Maybe she is out in todays match only. It is line-up posted by TV speaker which will comment the match (6 PM, Polsat Sport Extra).
so happy to see germany almost complete after struggling with a lot of injuries
Finally some post from DVV The team is celebrating Monique Strubbe's NT debut with 15 pts in the 2nd match vs Poland. Good to see Weitzel and Geerties both looking healthy. One more player has to be cut before ECH, I expect either Strubbe or Ambrosius. No need to take four MBs when there are only two who can actually perform on international level, so taking 5 OHs makes more sense. I also think Koslowski will always register one OH as libero and use Linda Bock as reception substitute.
The final roster for ECH has been announced. With the elimination of Poll, Kowslowski eventually brought 4 MB to the tournament.
Well since obviously L.Bock is expected to play as a back row sub so it's gonna be like 5 OH in the end.
Where is Vanjak? IMO she is better than Drewniok.
Is it true that Felix is no longer at the helm of Germany?
Is it true that Felix is no longer at the helm of Germany?
I haven't heard anything in that direction yet.

I knew that DVV was lately negotiating with Koslowski and Giani, but I was 100% sure Felix would remain head coach. OTOH DVV seems to be a mess these days, so maybe the negotations went wrong?
bregoli gonna be so good in germany
The german team was a mess this year, imo the biggest dissapointment of this year with poland
Hope they can recover
Official now: https://www.volleyball-verband…chen-volleyball-verband-/
Felix is no longer head coach of NT The article is very cryptic so it's unclear if he decided not to renew (in order to have more time for his family) or if the federation wanted a change (due to poor results this year).
Either way, I don't think it's a good move. It will be very difficult to find a better coach IMO
Another article says that DVV doesn't want the NT coach to be coach of a German club team at the same time anymore, so Felix decided to remain as coach of Schwerin which is his home and quit NT.
That also excludes the possibility of Alex Waibl as NT coach which would have been the next best option for me...
If Poland goes for Santarelli, Lavarini would be available
If the article about Bregoli wasn't made up, I think he would also be a good choice
The article Alexander Waibl: Wird der Coach des Dresdner SC bald Bundestrainer? from the newspaper Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten contains an interesting quote, which certainly makes you sit up and take notice in relation to the trainer question at the DSV. In relation to the question of whether he would be interested in becoming the national coach of Germany, the newspaper quoted Alexander Waibl as follows: “Wie sicher für jeden deutschen Trainer wäre es auch für mich ein großes Ziel, irgendwann Bundestrainer zu sein. Allerdings stehe ich beim DSC bis 2023 unter Vertrag, deshalb wäre das für mich derzeit nur in Doppelfunktion machbar. Ob das möglich wäre, müssen andere entscheiden.” (english “As is certain for every German coach, it would be a big goal for me to be a national coach at some point. However, I am under contract with the DSC until 2023, so that would only be possible for me in a double function at the moment. Whether that would be possible must be decided by others.”)
According to the statement, it seems that he is being discussed as a national coach. The question is whether the DVV will give him a transition period until 2023, so that he can perform a dual function at Dresdner SC and at the DVV until then. Finally, like the newspaper Dresdner Neueste Nachrichten, I would quote the sports director of the DVV Christian Dünnes: “[...] es wird demnächst eine Entscheidung geben.” (english “[...] there will be a decision soon.”)
Before the game against Schwerin, Alexander Waibl emphasized again in the preliminary interview with Sport1 that he is interested in the job as national coach, but only on the condition that he can fulfill his contractual obligations at Dresdner SC.
The matter is now really with the DVV. They have to decide whether to sign him with the transition period of just over a year or whether they will choose another manager.
IMO Waibl would be the best solution. He knows all players in Germany and has proved over many years how well he can develop both individual players and teams.
