Potsdam won in three sets in Suhl and considering points per match are again second best team behind Stuttgart - don't let you get fooled by the corona damaged formal table.

Dresden - Schwerin 3:0 (22, 15, 21)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2021-22/Women/2084.pdf
MVP: Maja Storck / Lina Alsmeier
Really bad match by Schwerin Dresden did a decent job in all elements but today Schwerin made it very easy for them. I guess Alsmeier as MVP shows how bad the whole Schwerin team played, she had one of her worst matches in ages but still got chosen MVP.
From the first impression I'm not too sold on Samedy, her technique looks quite raw
Yes, Schwerin was so bad, that they couldn't even exploit the typical weaknesses of Dresden visible in third set.

Wiesbaden are playing really well
JWO said a goal of theirs was to make the playoffs... They're in a good position to do that right now with Kunzler in great form.

FYI: straightforward counting the ratios of points per match and victories in relation to played matches the order of the twelve teams is for now as follows: 1. Stuttgart, 2. Potsdam, 3. Dresden, 4. Aachen, 5. Suhl, 6. Schwerin, 7. Wiesbaden, 8. Münster, 9. Vilsbiburg, 10. Erfurt, 11. Straubing, 12. Neuwied. Remarks: places 2 to 6 are rather close, Wiesbaden as seventh has now pretty good chances to make it to the playoffs too, Münster and Vilsbiburg are only seperated by a minimum difference in set ratio and will keep fighting hard for the last playoff slot, with Erfurt having some chances to join this fight. Straubing and Neuwied will not make it to the playoffs, but there will no team go down to the two second leagues.

Do you know if any team from second division is interested in joining Bundesliga next year?

Not, that I am aware of. From the Southern half of second league Wiesbaden II can't do it as second team of first league team, Lohhof has not the money to follow Neuwied with special rule so far I know and the others I don't know. From the Northern half Borken I don't know, but don't expect it, Leverkusen was telling they would with enough money they didn't get so far, Köln is out of chances (no suitable hall), the others I don't think. But we have to wait for February at least to get official statements, I think.

I can't imagine a team wanting to move up from the second Bundesliga to the top tier after this season. Nevertheless, there is a team that is flirting with promotion to the first division. At least in the medium term, VV Grimma and their team, “Vorwarts Volleys Grimma”, aim to start the adventure in the first league again. Perhaps this can be implemented within two or three years.

Some years ago they didn't want at all to attend first league, therefore this has changed a bit, but the hurdles are still not low.

Yes, that's right. A few years ago they didn't want to move up, probably for the same reason as Lohof. If you don't have the financial means, then you shouldn't risk such an advancement. Grimma himself has the best memories with VC Muldental Grimma, who went bankrupt after one season in the Bundesliga. Luckily, volleyball in Grimma was saved by VV Grimma. Based on this experience, Grimma will only advance if you can really afford it financially.
