now this is the kind of game I was looking for
Germany - VBL 1. Bundesliga 2021/22
-
-
3rd and 4th set have been much more entertaining, and I think whoever wins tie-break (I guess Stuttgart...) will also win the 4th match.
Alex Waibl is definitely interesting to listen to, very analytical and he hasn't said one bad word about any player and seems particularly fond of Cekulaev and Segura.
-
Rivers plays like Egonu right now, and that isn't meant as a compliment
-
Stuttgart showing nerves. Lee and Rivers are probably getting tired.
OTOH Potsdam is just playing good in every aspect
-
-
What a meltdown
-
Potsdam in 5. Wow, thats really surprised me
-
Potsdam
-
emonts was unstoppable in the last set 😉
-
Well, I didn't expect that Surprisingly, Jasper and Nowicka did an amazing job when they came in, but it was too late. Rivers and Lee were invisible when it really mattered today, Rivers was 1/7 and Lee 1/6 in tie-break
For Potsdam, Sarah Stiriz was incredibly important today! In the beginning Stuttgart targeted her with serves but she didn't show any vulnerability, so they had to change their strategy. She also had some really good digs and replaced Jegdic in the best possible way
-
Potsdam wins in a tie-break!
Emonts and Papa with some important and smart plays in the tie-break. For me Stiriz should be the MVP! She had some shaky moments, but for an 18 year old bench player in the final she played great!
I really don't understand why Hester Jasper gets so little playing timeSegura doesn't contribute much at all... Also van de Vyver with some questionable decisions, so Nowicka should have gotten a chance on court earlier!

Honestly I don't think this will happen - how it is running, Stuttgart will win relatively clearly in Potsdam I guess, but on Sunday in Stuttgart anything can happen. It will come down who is better in the head I guess. - By the way, I think it is too early for Potsdam to win the championship, they are first-timers in the final. But they have chances to win it in not too far future, with Dresden and Schwerin losing much of their strength at last.
-
Studying the statistics this match was more lost by Stuttgart than won by Potsdam, so it was not my subjective impression - Potsdam is strong enough to exploit this stream of errors by Stuttgart; the key numbers: Stuttgart made 31 errors, Potsdam just 17.

Yes, you muss played a Final three or four times to win this 😂😂😂😂

Stream for 5th match today, 20.00 CET (free but registration required)
The logical result would be Stuttgart winning abroad again, but maybe Potsdam can indeed break the streak and complete the sensation. I think Stuttgart is (once again) mentally not stable in the most important matches, on paper they should be clearly better than Potsdam and as we saw in match 2 and parts of match 3, when Stuttgart play their real game they are indeed better, but as soon as Potsdam gets in their heads it's a different game.
-
Both teams with full line-up (except for Bokan) and the usual starters. Jegdic seems to be warming up normally so I guess she can play again
-
Let's hope for a good game with both teams on equal level
I hope Aleksandersen has the guts to replace some of the players earlier rather than later if they don't perform
-
Considering Stuttgarts track record of final series and the performance they showed so far in this series, I'd put my money on Potsdam either today or on Sunday
