Yup, they have changed Kliuka's role to Opp in replacement to Poleatev's exit.

So, this is the Opps of NT:

Opp1: Kliuka

Opp2: Zhigalov/ Klets

Klets was injured during training and Zhigalov will replace him. Dang how many opposites does Russia need

I personally think it is good for Kliuka to play as OPP sometimes. It can help him to have more firepower at clutch moments as he gets too passive at times.

Considering Kliuka's switch, and the experimental character of this team, it is quite hard to fathom why the coach hasn't rotated more throughout the competition - there were aplenty of chances to give more playing time to others...

Let's see now against Poland. Although they are clear the favourtites I wouldn't rule Russia out.

Tumoas and Anton don't have the best relationship. I feel pity for Semyshev, he was the first one to get cutt off from the VNL roster, and he was called to training only to get replaced for ECH. I hope Dinamo Moscow continue their dominaion against Zenit this coming club season lol

I can't find an updated Russian league thread so I'm posting here. Is Bogdan converted to a libero in Dinamo or is it just a temporary role?

Sad news. Just found out that Vadim Khamuttskikh, former NT captain and Bronze medalist at 2004 and 2008 olympics, died a few days ago.
