Also for Brazilians but I don't know why they dropped Natalia
it may have been the player’s choice.

sometimes.
Most of the americans are (i mean half of them drive tesla's and live in California )
But all of them have gotten huge contracts (Larson, Drews, Robinson, etc) abroad somewhere either in Turkey/Russia/Japan
Considering most of them went to top tier schools.. XD
The reason why the American players live in California is two fold, USA team practices there, so to be closer to the practice facility. Also massive volleyball presence in the community, beach and indoor, universities and high schools and make it easier to get a job if you want to stay in the sport.
I randomly watched a video that about a Hong Kong Player used to play in Thai League.
She revealed that her basic salary in Thai League was HKD 7,000 (around $900) but players received appearance fee and other bonuses that can resulted total pay at HKD 12,000 - 13,000 (aroud $1538 - $1666) monthly. If you can win an award called "The man of the match", it can double your bonuses.
She also emphasized that the team paid her recommendation, meals on training days, transportation to matches, so she had little chance to spent her salary. So she said you can definitely live on with the level of salary.
Edit 1: before She played professional volleyball in Thailand, she said she worked as Construction Security Officer in Hong Kong, I think her then-salary was HKD 30,000 monthly (around $3846).
I saw an agency posting they're looking for OHs/Opps for next season in A1 and A2.
In A1, the salary is up to 25000(euros) with benefits such as housing, insurance, flights, potentially a car
For A2, the salary starts at 6000(euros) with the same benefits

that's per month, right ?
no lol
this is a low level A1 team
Good luck to them

I feel like thats not really out of the norm for Italy, especially a lower level team. Maybe I'm wrong lol
If the French LNV Budgets are just for players (which I don't know), 16 players for Nantes at a budget of 1.4 million euros would be around 87,500 euros per player.

I don't know much about salaries but it seems so little for a professional athlete who supposed to play in one of best leagues. Maybe I'm wrong

No you are not wrong. In Sweden you would make 6000 euros in two months as a PhD candidate (no benefits included though). Maybe that's why Sweden cannot transfer foreigners lol, you are not allowed to employ someone that cheap, they won't issue a visa unless you earn 1300 euros/month.
25000 makes sense, if you consider it's a contract for 8/9 month it's around 3000€ a month which is an high salary for italian standards, particularly considering housing/car and stuff are covered.
6000 tho sounds crazy low for anyone other than girls still in high school 😂
Cannes owner/president is threatening to cut the players salaries by 15-30% percent, due to poor results.
the league/players reps arent happy
QuoteAverage wages for players in the men's pro volleyball V-League in South Korea
For the 2021/2020 men's pro volleyball V-League season in South Korea, the average wage for players was 178 million South Korean won (around USD $148,452). The average wage continued to increase overall in recent years.
I think Korea has the most highest average salary in Asia.
Does anybody know the salary of Halkbank's opp Hernandez for a season?
Lucarelli possibly leaving for >€400,000
nope. I guess I shouldn’t say USAV doesn’t have the money. They’re paying Karch enough that he doesn’t have another coaching gig.
this is a really old response to Umu11
but I was looking through USAV's financials. They paid Karch $400k in 2019.
