Japan - V.League V1 (Division 1, Women) 2021-2022
Participating teams
Regular Round begins October 15, 2021 (Friday) and ends March 27, 2021 (Sunday). Matches are played every Saturday and Sunday with a few Friday night games thrown in. Winter Break is December 6, 2021 to January 7, 2022). Teams will have 12–16 home games, up from 4–8 last year, but some of them are fake.
Teams play each other three times. It's not a traditional 3X Round Robin. From October 15 to February 19 there will be only one match in an arena per night, eliminating the second match fake home games. Additionally, home teams will host the same team for two consecutive nights.

The top three finishers will advance to the Final Stage. The 4–12th place finishers will be their final ranking.
Final Stage April 9–17, 2022
- Final 3 will be played as a single-elimination match, with the ranking determined by the number of wins. The 2nd place finisher of the Regular Round gets ONE WIN as an advantage. If the number of wins is equal a golden set of 25 points (1 set) will be played after the match to determine the winner.
- Final will be a two-round tournament, and the ranking will be determined by the number of wins. If the number of wins is equal, a golden set of 25 points (1 set) will be played after the match to determine the ranking.
