I'm off to Uni Land
Just checked the Live Score and Toyota has at minimum earned their first point of the season
Is anyone else having a buffery stop start night of vtv streaming?
I've got the Uni-match going in beautiful 1080 with no problems but my vtv streams aren't working very well

I'm watching NEC vs PFU and Hisamitsu vs Himeji and they are both working well. I'm not sure with other matches.
Aryka a 0–2 comeback is better than a 3–0 win I can't see much of it, but monitoring the Live Score
Let's pull a Himeji
I'm watching NEC vs PFU and Hisamitsu vs Himeji and they are both working well. I'm not sure with other matches.
Thanks for the input. Those are the two I have trying to go as well. Once the Tsukuba match is over I will switch computers and see if that helps
Toyota is in Tie Break overtime
[Edit]
Yikes but getting 3 points from NEC is still a win for PFU
I need a JT-OK link
Display MoreOK, what was I thinking about Toyota beating Kurobe. Kelsey being the only player with double digits tor Toyota , but they can’t keep putting her as the opposite. Toyota can’t decide how they want to attack from a line up standpoint, constantly switching the formation. Pick one, and it will enable some consistency.
Merete Lutz with a good performance for Kurobe.
JT with almost two full wins lead over second Toray, 5 points. NEC being now 2+ full loses behind, so the bye to the final is basically in JT’s hands with 20 games to go. Annie basically could play a couple more years in JT and might get “foreigner bonus”. In Japanese baseball, if a foreign player stays for in Japan for enough years, they don’t count as a foreigner any more.
per Japanesebaseball.comCurrently, the rules for foreign players to be treated as Japanese players is as follows:
- Live in Japan for five or more years, attending junior high, senior high, a two-year college, and/or vocational school for three years.
- Live in Japan for four or more years, continuously attending a Japanese university for four or more years.
So, when we look at Valdes, she probably falls under the first category. Not saying Drews falls under these categories, but she likes her team, they’ve been champs since she joined and she’s probably getting paid well. Also probably likes the sights too.
I'm all for Drews staying in Japan forever. I need this pandemic to be over soon so I could fly to Japan and watch my idol play
Arisa Nagano has a hair out of place
JT decided to choose chaos. 19-14 OK to 20-25 JT. They just set it to Drews. Lol.

Who knows , maybe they take this winter break to discuss making a plan to think about making a plan to discuss thinking about what to do
As mentioned I don't like Aimi Okawa, but she might improve things. I can't understand what Cherry Blossom Girl is still doing in the lineup -- even though I like her
I don't think Toyota will add much this 'draft' period. They loaded up on all these youngsters last round, but who knows. And if their Uni girl hopeful, Yukiho Hara is rehab'd enough to play they might win a game. Yukiho's not a game-changer by any means but I bet if she came back healthy she'd be their high scorer. I think scoring points helps win games but I'm not sure because I don't usually pay attention to it
I just checked the Toyota match to see how it ended. At 14–15 Cherry Blossom Girl hit one and the ref called a block touch for 15–15. Kurobe challenged it. The result:
Watching Cherry Blossom Girl in both her highs and lows, and the way Mioko does or doesn't tend to her, I get the very distinct feeling Mioko doesn't like Cherry Blossom Girl
Bummer JVA isn't doing (or hasn't yet done ) an Empress Cup web site this year (like previous years) which starts in five days. It's a great place for roster photos. It also remains to be seen if we will get to watch any of it. The Block Round matches are here, and they did show the preliminary rounds at the AI site last year, so who knows. Maybe there will be an announcement this week
As a refresher, here's the participating teams and the First Round match-ups:
