    • Top two from each group go to the Quarterfinals
    • No JT Marvelous
    • To be VTV or not to be VTV? That is the question
    • Probably no NT members will play, which levels the playing field a bit
    • Krob should be the only foreigner allowed to play
    • Go Toyota
  • are these senior teams?

i thought their season was over with. oops.

It's the closing tournament of the season. All V1 teams except JT (I don't know why), and usually the top-ish 2 Uni and top-ish 2 HS teams

It's when the retirees say their goodbyes

  • Japan confirmed to be joining the Asian Club Championship on April 24-30 in Kazakhstan, based on an article from AVC when they did the draw lots. Maybe JT Marvelous will be playing there that's why they will not be on this tournament.

I bet you’re right about that

  • Denso Head Coach Gen Kawakita, who signed on to the NT as a Coach, has decided to leave Denso. New HC will be Takeshi Tsuji who apparently used to HC Denso back in 2013

  • An announcement on the Mainichi Newspapers web site says:

"The 70th Kurowashiki All Japan Volleyball Tournament, which will be held from April 30th to May 5th, will be delivered LIVE for all games"

but it doesn't say where :rolll:

I think that media group is one of the main sponsors of the tournament

  • UNIVAS is live streaming both the Kanto and Kansai Spring tournaments this year. Starts at 10:00am Saturday JST

The top three Kansai teams could maybe beat the bottom three Kanto teams but other than that it's not even close. Still fun volleyball, though. It's Uni-girls :rose:

  • Two of the six Kanto League Women's matches tonight have been postponed :( All of the men's matches scheduled for this weekend have been postponed

    Not a great start :white:
