I forgot that Peppers was a brand new club without any good OHs (or players at all) so they could go for an OH instead of an OPP too

I hope this means that Ha Hye Jin will get to return to her position of OPP (and potentially be the next OPP for NT? or at least backup till a better one comes around)

Lee Hanbi's power and swing may not be bad for an OPP position too

But in a surprise move, it was Hipass who opted for an OH instead of IBK

I suppose Heejin will no longer play as OPP and return to being MB now, new coach definitely isn't a pushover like before during all the players/Sanee vs coach drama

Really unexpected that PS went for Jelena in 3rd pick... she didn't stand out much to me on KGC, I even thought she might be changed halfway

Anyway happy for Elizabet to switch to a team that can win more, and good luck to Nia Reed haha... it's gonna be tough having to carry a brand new team and get used to losing frequently despite being a good player

Edit: a 33 year old OPP for IBK is really surprising too

I'm also interested in IBK's pick cause I thought the team's attacking triangle (Santana - Seungju - Heejin) was performing very well.

Apparently Kim Hochul fully planned to pick an OH. He had three in mind but unfortunately they ended up not participating in the draft so he went with Anastasiya, who used to play OH. They plan to let her undergo some receive and defense training during the off-season.

Hopefully things work out for them so we can see Heejin plays OP. Maybe we're gonna see some position-switching back and forth between the two.

the scout and coaches said ilshin hs park eun ji (park eun seo sister, 176cm) is a priority pick.

But i like cheongsu HS setter seo yoon ah, but she on the short side (172cm)

There is jung so yul (jung ho young sister) too on sunmyung.

as expected Hanbom win the tournament, but i would say Jecheon steal everyone attention.

They play the most set (mostly full set) with only 8 player.

Outstanding player is Lee Ye Eun (178 cm) left, she can receive, defense, and scored most point.

Thought she'd take over Yeum as starting setter on KGC (which she had for 2 seasons now due to Yeum's slump and injury) so this comes as quite a surprise...

edit: read some rumours she was receiving a lot of hate from fans of other KGC players as a setter, since people had such high expectations of KGC this season...

I hope it's not the case but the timing and her sudden exit despite playing as main setter really makes one question the reason behind it

As a result of KGC Ginseng setter HA Hyo-Rim's retirement at the end of the season, KGC Ginseng Corp. and Hyundai E&C Hillstate announced they have agreed on a 1:1 player trade. This will see NA Hyun-Soo [MB/OP] move to Hyundai E&C and KIM Hyeon-Ji [S] go to KGC Ginseng. (1, 2, 3)

This is late news but a belated congratulations to PARK Sang-Mi on her recent marriage. The wedding took place at the end of April.

They have to get really lucky in the draft lottery draw. I'm pretty sure IBK and Expressway and maybe Heungkuk will be looking for additional setters too.

A volleyball match was held among the show's members and guests Hwang Younjoo, Yang Hyojin and Kim Yeongyeon.

They even brought guest commentators Lee Hogeun and Lee Seokja.

Some news updates.

From July 7-10, KGC Ginseng, GS Caltex, Korea Expressway, and Heungkuk will hold summer practice matches in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do. This seems to be similar to what four of the teams did in 2019 in Gwangju. Source: 1
