IBK: need li or MBPark Hye Hyeon (Li) or Jeon Hyeon Kyeong (MB)
pink spider: need LCha Yu Jeong (L,MB)
gs: need MBSeo Chae Won or Jeon Hyeon Kyeong
There is Kim Se In, she’s good but that height is certainly lacking.
At least we can see more player get picked this year than last year, but then again if they just gonna pick and be released in 1 or 2 season what’s the point.
GS Caltex:
For me, I think GS needs another OH rather than another MB, just slightly ahead. GS already have 4 MBs in their roster and if they really need additional reinforcement in the centre, then they can always move KWON Min-Ji or MOON Ji-Yun there.
Heungkuk:
I totally agreed. Heungkuk's priority is outside hitter, two would be ideal. If the decent OHs are gone after Round 1, then Heungkuk should strengthen the MB in round 2.
IBK Altos:
I think IBK needs to strengthen every position. But for me, IBK also needs an OH who is strong in receiving. The reason why I think IBK's first priority shouldn't be another MB is because of CHOI Jeong-Min's strong performance in the MB position at the KOVO Cup. KIM Ju-Hyang is also another option for MB. IBK can leave picking a libero after Round 2 as I don't expect many teams besides PSB to be in desperate need of one.
Korea Expressway:
MB and setter are the first two main priorities and then a libero. A longer season with three older MBs (all over +30 y.o.) and only two setters in the team will mean they will be walking on a tightrope if there is an injury in any of these two positions. Not sure if Hi-pass's current player KIM Jeong-A is strong defensively and receiving, if so then she could be an extra backup option for the libero position otherwise a libero will be needed in Round 3.
KGC Ginseng:
First, a setter is needed, then a libero. Just like Expressway, KGC only has two setters and an injury to either one could be disastrous for the team. A libero is needed because CHAE Seon-Ah (CSA) didn't look too confident receiving during the KOVO Cup. Plus it is a concern if the other two liberos receiving abilities were overlooked in favour of CSA.
Hyundai E&C:
An outside hitter is the number one priority. A tall OH with solid offensive and receiving capability. Yes, JEONG Ji-Yun will make the transition but they need another player who is already familiar with receiving just in case HWANG Min-Kyoung or GO Ye-RIm (GYR) goes down. A tall setter is the second priority but this will be difficult as there are not that many available options.
