In today's pre-match interview, Kim Sanee expressed her intention to step down from the acting head coach position and leave IBK (she will not stay on the coaching staff) after today's match against Hipass. She also said neither the club nor the players knew about her intention before the interview.

... she said she was stepping down so as to not further affect the players as one of the reason.
Genuine question is, what is her purpose for announcing something like this... without informing them beforehand and affecting them even more?
Leaving them without a coach for the next match, the club also can't do anything within this short timeI guess one of the other sub-coaches will have to step up for IBK meanwhile. They should just bring back Seo Namwon to clear their bad image.
Unless KSN or the players who accused him can describe what he actually said to them without avoiding the topic even further.
Also, the other coaches have agreed to no longer reply to any questions regarding Kim Sanee or IBK, so as to bring the focus back onto volleyball and their own gameplay rather than have KSN/IBK news be the focus of the league instead.
The sponsors of the league and other clubs are all upset about this incident too since its affecting the popularity of volleyball as well as taking up all the news & attention away from the rest of the league.

I think if she discussed it with club first they wouldn’t let her stepped down.
If KSN still want career in Volleyball she better explained what really happened.

Well if we choose to believe the players who said that they never sabotaged their coach with a poor performance, then they were already on a losing streak before all this happened🤷🏻♀️
Now it'll be worse (regardless of whose fault it is), they'd be pressured and stressed with no clear coaching direction

So their win vs PS was just a "fluke".. PS hasn't form a solid team, and Altos has more experienced players.. nothing to do with KSN ...
but then they met more solid teams with good coach, while KSN is still inexperienced acting head coach, so they lost both in a row.. Being a head coach is hard..
KSN is only "acting" with 0 experience with, I'm only guessing, limited knowledge on tactics and team management.. Also leading a messed up team..
I don't think any outside known coach want to become the Head Coach, with that situation on the club.. Altos only option is promoting one of those assistant coaches.. I wonder if Nam Ji Yeon is still there and whether she took courses for coaching..

Yes if they picked her + the GS Caltex 2nd year setter, they might be in a much better position this year.

Hillstate is really the strongest team for now in my book... I'm kind of amaze with their floor defense.. It's like every player in Hillstate has been diligently practicing digs...Even their MBs are good at digs,. Adding their "wall" in front of the net...
Kim Da In's style is more or less like LDY, especially the long cross toss from right to left that have high success rate.. Really like LDY..
I'm glad Jung Ji Yun is getting sharper and sharper on her spikes.
They shouldn't lost the 3rd set...
It's coincidental that KGC won the 3rd when Yeum HS is replaced.... Though they couldn't do much in the 4th set....

This is OT but Jung Jiseok played as a starter in today's match of Korean Air.
The media's focus is on the women's volleyball and I feel like his case has been buried. Assault and molka crime should be taken seriously. I can't believe they(KVA, KOVO and Korean Air) let him go like this.

Coach Kang Sunghyung complained that his players kept losing concentration at the beginning of matches.
KGC probably didn't expect the lead they had at the beginning of the match. (Hillstate surprised by Ko Uijeong?) And when they had that lead, they probably didn't expect that it was Hillstate, not them, who would comfortably close the set at 25-20. Hillstate's one-point servers, and Yaasmeen of course, saved the day.
3rd set was clutch for KGC. But Hillstate quickly regained their composure and destroyed the last set. They have been very good at overcoming crisis, which makes things much harder for their opponents.
End of Round 2.
Hillstate still dominates, sweeping every point this round. Hipass joined the fight for second place by defeating both GS and KGC (their first win against GS in 2 years!)
Among the bottom three teams, can Heungkuk truly rejoice with the discovery of their new OH Jeong Yunjoo? Or was it a one off performance against Pepper? Guess we'll find out today.

Coach Ahn Taeyoung will take over as IBK acting head coach in the match with Pepper tomorrow (Dec 5). Official new head coach still undecided.
Rebecca Latham will play this game and the game with KGC on Dec 9 is expected to be her last with IBK.

I don't understand KOVO. They're always going on in the media about making male volleyball more popular, and this is the best they can do?

as soon as the indictment cannot be processed due to lack of evidence (JJS doesnt remember his iphone password lol ) i knew they gonna bury the case.
