Embrassing performance by Poland in 3rd set. We played without Opp. Stysiak was so weak, Malwina today too. Medrzyk is called the best receiver in polish team, but I didnt saw that today
Anyway, I hope that we will continue win games against USA, but it will be hell difficult ...
Stysiak and Lukasik have been invisible, even against Kenya they didn’t do much.
I’d fix the sets to Stysiak higher and slower, but I don’t think it’s only the setting problem, she may be a bit tensed or simply out of shape.
They had tons of chances to grab the 2nd set but then all blown 🤦♂️ -

I think BRA and CHN will win. ITA will get this one. I do not think SRB has enough support against the well oiled ITA who has Antropova and Egonu ready to take charge. USA and POL might be closer BUT USA has experience to be honest.

I can't say they haven't fought till the end, it's not like they lost a set 25-15, but there is no back for them imo

TUR just have bad juju this OG. They definitely peaked too early (actually last season) and has lost their grit and passion this season.

Even if we manage to get past Serbia (and that of course remains to be seen), we still have to face either China (a different team from VNL, looking very good) or Turkey (one can never know what version of them can get). Of course if you want to win you have to beat everybody, but getting a seeding like this after working your butt off in the pool stage is tough luck.

Serbia won against Italy in last Olympics but Boskovic was in such better shape. Egonu didn’t find herself in that match but right now besides Egonu has Antropova.

Literally anyone else would be a better opponent for Italy. They do not have the psychology to win Serbia and Serbia will sure feel really confident against them.
