    I agree - especially considering how many rotation errors (for early movement) they have been calling earlier in this tournament. All I ask for is consistency.

    Yeah, for sure after the error would’ve been called Turkey would be standing correctly but it’s just surprising that at this level that kind of an easy thing to see was never noticed by the 2nd referee whose main job is basically looking at the receiving team rotation.

    Congratulations to turkey for this epic historical success, after so many people count them out! It shows a lot of character and nerve to keep it together after the starting setter get a bad injury mid game🥺 on top of all the other injuries of starting players.


    Elif had a shaky start after cansu's injury which I can't imagine how hard it should be for such a young player and she has huge balls to make such an iconic setter dump at such a critical point :obey: I hope cansu's injury is not serious, it is too much burden to be the only setter at OG semis at the age of only 23😱


    Gizem had insane digs and her reception was super solid, she was crying at some point because of pain, the amount of determination these girls show is something to respect 🥺 she deserves the best libero award if she keep this performance up during semis as well


    Vargas is true GOAT, she shows up when it really matters:heart: people thought she was done after her shoulder, there were even talks about her missing out OG but she is here, as good as ever, and slaying the tournament with amazing and consistent performance:super:


    Meliha was the second MVP, such a great sub! She proved her spot in the roster and kudos to santarelli for making the call to bring her to Paris. Attacking 6/8 in such a crucial game, and having great reception&digs&blocks:rose:


    Eda got a few crucial kills and blocks but we know she can do more than this. Zehra is still nowhere close to best shape but kudos to her for giving her best at such a physical shape.


    Ebrar is still in a bad shape unfortunately, she is one of those players who gets into her head a lot. Let's hope she could show her true performance against Italy at semis. We really need her to reach to final.:box:

    Sad for the Chinese ladies, a lot of pressure and expectation on them and another dissapointing olympics despite so many great players. Curious to see if Cai Bin will continue the road to LA.


    Turkey with their hustling and warrior mentality can always edge out these 5 setters.


    Now hope Brazil or Poland win gold.

    Congratulations to China as well, they were my favourite for the final beside turkey so I was upset that these two strong teams ended up so early at the competition. China has a lot of potential with such strong duos at middle and outside. Especially Li is at her current shape best outside hitter besides Gabi. It is a bummer that china couldn't raise a good setter after legendary setters like Feng kun and wei. Also without having a top opp seems to be very hard to be successful at current volleyball era.

    On rotation 1, Vargas has to stand on the left of OH1 before running around. Instead multiple times she was standing in between OH1 and OH2. Happened a lot of times, not just this match

    the rules regarding to position have changed. It has become more lenient. It used to be the first foot that mattered, now it’s the second foot that matters.
    it’s quite difficult to explain but as long as one foot of each player is in the same line, it’s ok. See attached pic, the front row players are all ok. The back row players not.


    But yes, players are know to run earlier than when the player serving hits the ball, but refs call for the big obvious ones and those regarding millimeters or milliseconds are let go
