i don't think brazil have enough weapons to overcome americans' experience. usa will probably distrupt whatever rhythm they'll try to maintain and it'll be a very frustrating match for brazilians.
assuming the injuries on turkish side aren't serious, they cannot afford another slow start, they'll have to be absolutely clinical in pretty much every critical point and take it to 5 sets, also ebrar needs to show up, otherwise it'll be over before they even know it. whatever the outcome will be, i think the winner of this match is also gonna get the gold.

unpopular opinion, USA beats Brazil. Brazil has looked good so far but hasn't played any team yet that's considered A level. IMO.
Sure Poland and Dom can be that on a good day, but they haven't been consistently on the top yet. Kenya and Japan are probably among the weakest teams in the tournament.
I expect the last gold medalists to make the finale again and, however lose the gold there. Mostly likely against Italy.

I hope USA plays their best. Plummer should step up her attacking game… Rosa/Roberta are a much easier blocker to go after, rather than Stysiak. I’m scared Avery is gonna get eaten by Thaisa/Carol on her angle. But she did good last game, so let’s hope she continues that. Annie and the MBs should be used much more, and earlier into the game..
