You only get so many times a year for the national team to play together, so taking the VNL as seriously as possible makes sense. I will say it helped the USA and Brazil before Tokyo to narrow the roster in 2021.

It definitely helped USA and Brazil. I believe it helped Turkey, Russia and South Korea too.
It seems like China is taking this VNL seriously
Of course a China team that has two of their three main outsides injured, and the second setter nowhere to be seen suddenly decides to take VNL seriously.
Who is it?
Jorge Edson Souza de Brito. They just had a friendly match in Brazil 3-2! the scores are 25-20, 25-17, 25-20, 27-29, 15-9 against Sao Caetano!
How much are VNL tickets on the different legs (whichever is local to you)
I see here, it’s $250 for an all session/match pass.

For a week access, this is a really deal.

I agree.... my flight to the arena (which is in the middle of no where) would be 2-3x that cost
VNL tickets for the final and 3 match days of Turkey in the first group stage are sold out in 5 hours. Gym has 14k capacity.

And the website crashed when they put the tickets out

Wow, this is really something! Love the love for volleyball
Love is there, but can they win this on home soil? Have lost in VNL finals in the past.
Does anyone else have a source for the challenger Cup teams?
WoV says it will be Croatia, PR, Colombia, Czech Rep., Kazakhstan, Cameroon, one team relegated from the VNL, and the Golden League champion.
I just have doubts because NORCECA is hosting a "International League Qualification tournament" which I assumed was for this.
yeah
It might be fake
Also i didn't read the rule relegated teams from vnl could participate
Imo is kinda unfair if true

Why unfair?
Why unfair?
Because team that loses play with top teams in the world while the other can play no official games or only few (except europeans) with current challenge cup format
Also challenger cup gives opportunity to other teams to go to VNL,if the last placed team of vnl renew every year well it gonna be always the same
The VNL is inherently unfair, with “core” teams chosen by nothing other than money
