2022 Women's Volleyball Nations League

  • Japan seems like they've been playing together for months. Super fast and organized. Koga remains awesome.

Tamaki Matsui. Fast is her middle name. And she communicates well

yeah, I like her whole vibe on court. they might actually grab some unexpected wins playing like this, even though this Korea is no parameter for anything...

a good blocking team will be a potential nightmare for Japan. I expected more from Korea. They’re good players and I believe they will improve during the tournament. Their flailing was a bit inscrutable to me

  • How was Korea's performance today?

  • No and no . Pretty sure she said her allegiance ro to PHI

Everyone's waiting for Melissa Valdes. Okubu Oba's got kill from the right but it's a defense thing or she'd be out there

Yeahh I think it was mentioned before that Santiago can naturalise, but she's still loyal to the Philippines !

  • Captain Koga led by example.

Sarina and Nagaoka are my favourite Japanese players :cheesy: .... but I didn’t see Nagaoka here. She could be injured again....she had an injury plagued career 😐

Nagaoka didn't get called to the NT this time, and she has only played a few matches throughout the V League 2021-2022 season

  • absolutely tragic

Will be watching the replay tonight after work, let's see how much of a tragedy it was :serve:

  • i accidentally fell asleep for 30 minutes after the first set if that helps lol

No fair :hit: It was like USA v DOM 8o

looking at the scores should be enough lol reception was messy, no one could score, setting was a problem (she set someone on japan's side once), etc

  • We would like to commend the Thai team for their spectacular play and victory. There is a gap between the reserves and the starters and I am sure they will suffer in the long VNL, but first congratulations. I would also like to thank the Turkish Volleyball Association and the fans for making the venue more solid than it was three years ago. The attraction of the content should still make it more exciting.

And one more thing I would like to ask all the volleyball fans in the USA, the Olympic champions and home country.

If you can only attract 300 people, don't hold the event.

we've already discussed this... USA Volleyball doesnt want spectators.... they took the bid out in the middle of no where.

there were 19,000 people attending the NCAA final
