Shocked, I tell you....
I was expecting him to include a couple of high schoolers just for the experience but oh well
Edit: *fresh out of high school players
Younger Nishikawa didn't make the cut I was hoping she'd be in

Me too. I like her more than Yuki

Yeah, I think it's an error not to invite Megumi Fukazawa, but the inclusion of The Real Yoshino Sato almost makes up for it. And another of my favorite Uni-Girls, Hiroyo Yamanaka, inches it closer
No Kobata? I like the Setters pool. I am expecting to see Fukuzawa as well.
No Kobata?
Told ya
But also no Mana Toe
It's a long list of players, and when push comes to shove it may boil down to the same ol same ol, but at least it's an exciting and different long list, with some head scratchers and some very welcome surprises
I don't know about most of those players but I guess I'm ok with it because it doesn't have Kurogo or Ishii but Kobata isn't there either which is a little odd. 29 isn't really old for a libero. Tanaka from JT is probably older. Not sure about that Denso libero either. Good for the Miyabes.
I wonder if by next year those twins will be taking Uchiseto's place.
Those annoying Okayama fans better shut the fuck up now that Kaneda made it and Miyashita is there too.
I wonder about the exclusion of Melissa Valdes If it's to do with her naturalization status or if Manabe doesn't think her overall game is up to speed. I've been impressed by how much she's grown this year
Koga is the captain
Nanami Asano is an interesting pick, and almost a fresh outta, too. I can't do math but I think she is still a teenager ... 2002-12-13 ?

Kobata not being on the list is also surprising for me. I may be a little biased but Kobata is still a very solid libero whose speed and skills match the Japanese style of volleyball. But I'm no expert coach
