So you didn't read the whole article?
The last sentence is where the Philippine was mentioned. I'm not suprised at all. You can learn from this news PNVF, Japan volleyball federation seal partnership. Both Japan and Philippine agreed to work with each other to promote its national teams. But I really can't find where China was mentioned by Shunichi Kawai that Japan wanted to co-host with China.
I don't see he mentioned China in that articl. Did I miss anything?
China is mentioned here:
QuoteGoogle trans: "The Japanese want to repeat this year's Polish achievement in four years and organize a women's and men's tournament. They do not exclude the possibility of being a co-host together with the Philippines and China."

I found it here Source One. The news wrote China but not a quote. However, the other news agent wrote "Philippines and other coutries''

Still the same though. China or Philipines
Japan cannot afford to completely put these events only alone anymore, even with the teams doing well.
A China/South Korea/Japan would make sense, but logistics with China right now not easy.

Yoshino and Ameze are back with their Uni teams. It's kind of the Final tonight. The tournament is a Round Robin. If Tsukuba wins , the tournament is theirs. If Tokai wins, it's complicated because of postponed matches
covid restrictions
2026. I'm sure covid will be a memory by then
oh look... more confederations overlapping continental events with international ones... even though they've known these dates for two years
ugh
Ebata marries former FC Tokyo player Shun Takahashi. Not the same guy who was sent to the Philippines to coach F2 Cargo. They've been dating for 12 years. Takahashi's brother, Seiya Takahashi is Saori Kimura's sister's husband. He was an analyst for Denso in the past.
Takahashi is currently an assistant coach at Victorina.

im curious if majority of volleyball players in japan date each other. im a little surprised saori isn't married to some big celebrity considering how much of a massive figure she is.

I read years ago that an active player may face a heavy fine, suspension or even getting kicked out of their team(s) if they post anything regarding their relationships on social media. That punishment also covers any kind of beef one may have on other players and or coaches/staff and they start any kind of drama via sns.

wasn't there a swimmer at national level who cheated on his wife and was suspended during the olympics or something i remember seeing it on twitter before
