Transfer Rumors & Discussion (2022/2023)

  • Obviously don't know her level but she might do well in Beşiktaş considering it's a second division team.

Beşiktaş had a good start to the season. Their players are mostly loaned from Eczacıbaşı. They already have a good young core team. (Dilay, Zeynep, Defne, Bianka is there). They have 1-2 experienced players.

They aren't rich but they found a name sponsor this season. Ren will be their second foreigner. Other is Ema Strunjak (MB, CRO)

Also I think it was Nalan Ural's idea. She is following her on IG.

(Nalan Ural is consulting for Beşiktaş.)

  • Is Besiktas a rich club that can just throw away money? Lol. Like did they even do their research for a highlight video to see her level/performance. Maybe Beijing sent them a LYY video and told them "here this is Ren Kaiyi" :rolll:

they are known to NOT pay their non-football players so good luck lol there was a transfer ban on them due to unpaid salaries but it must have been lifted. And I am sorry denzz but Nalan Ural vouching for a player is not a good thing lol

  • Idk what Beskitas options were, but maybe Ren Kaiyi was the easiest player to go after at this moment. Instead of going through all the tedious paperwork and trying to convince a Chinese club/CVA to release one of their top players which we all know is difficult, they just took whatever was available. She's already played a season in Poland and Indonesia so it's not like Beijing/CVA would've said no.

I don't think there won't be a problem about salaries. They have a name sponsor.

And most of the players are under 18-19. That shouldn't take much of their budget.

Anyway let's see if it'll be true and definitely curious to follow her

I saw the squad and it's an exciting one indeed, honestly group B of 2nd league is stacked with fun teams

  • Really?? lol :aww:

Was it the covid year or did the club not find her useful?

Yes, it was covid year. She played in China and was supposed to join the polish team afterwards, but due to pandemic she had problems to go there.

And at the beginning of March, polish league got cancelled due to covid

Imo Ren was a good attacker despite her height (definitely better than Jin Ye), but her passing was her weakness. She had some good games in Beijing when they were still a competitive team with Liu Xiao-tong, Zeng Chun-lei & some foreigners.
But that was a few years back and I haven’t watched her since then. With her age now I don’t know how her form is tbh. Usually Asian players decline quite significantly after 30.

  • Seems like Novara is on the market again looking for an OH (or maybe 2). Surely related to Adams' injury but I think there is more to it..

  • Who is free? Any ideas?

Ana Cristina on loan from FB please!
