Most of these rumors (including that about 180k and Anthi) are sound so unrealistic and they are mostly untrue. The right amount is much lower.

Anthi was rumored to receive a way much lower salary in her first season in Galatasaray. I don’t remember the exact number but it was around 30.000 EUR. Considering she hadn’t had any significant achievement in between to deserve such raise, I don’t think she is making 180.000 EUR now.

I’m fairly new to Pro volleyball, but I know a lot of players who have played now. I can almost guarantee you that Anthi is making AT LEAST 180.000 EUR at Gala. That’s pretty average for a foreign pos 4 in a “top team” in Turkey.

but she's always being pulled from matches... doesn't score at the levels she was with Nilufer.
she got outplayed offensively by Kelsey last week....

I think the fact they're showing interest and ask for info to her agent might be real, if she might be interested it's a different story

Found some video clips to watch. SWP looks kinda lost on the floor. Same volleyball, but faster in Japan with crazy-good defense. Maybe faster than USA fast is not her style. This is perplexing. Drews is still hammering!

as I said, I am not talking about average salary. She did make around 30k in her first year and this piece of information was shared on TV during a match. And she didn’t win anything since, in fact she did pretty poorly in Aydin last season except that match where she scored 40+ points. Therefore, I do not believe she has gotten that kind of raise. Yes, I am sure she doesn’t make 30k now but not 180k either.

I don't know swp from a can of beans so I don't know what her game is supposed to be. She attacks like most USA girls serve: raise your hand like you want to be called on in class and then push the ball over the net in some direction. It's not working
