Watched the first set and I can’t go on anymore. Vakifbank (DERYA) is a mess. Her reception is tragic. Her attacking is awkward. And her back row defense is sad. Egonu + Gabi gonna be breaking their back again carrying this team considering reception will be a problem since the other OH +libero are unreliable in reception. Can they bring MBH back mid season? 😩

In my opinion, Eczacıbaşı has the widest and most valuable bench this season, but we will see what it will look like later in the season
They are very balanced for sure

I don't understand why did they play with only 2 foreign players (Gabi and Egonu). They could have easily played with Chiaka since Kubra wasn't playing that well or Nika/Kara since one of them will always be on the bench

Well that's what Derya is. She has once in a while a good game like Tuğba does but that's it. I don't see any future in her as OH🤦 relying on only her as local outside was a bad call from Guidetti. Chiaka won't be able to play much this season

PTT doesn't have a good backup for Caric. It was a very bad move to take a bet on such an injury prone player like a Caric. That's why their OHs need to take the scoring burden. A no-name outside like Merve also had to attack so many balls.

Yea PTT made a mistake signing Caric (especially without a serious back-up) now they are playing without a real Opp... Other than that the OHs do good job carrying the load, particularly Busa ofc. Merve Tanyel did decent the last two games as well, like Serdar said seeing her hit 50 swings says a lot as well though.
