Bongaerts vs. Van Aalen battle let's go
-
Someone needs to tell the TV people to zoom closer to the court

Very convincing 1st set by Potsdam
Nemeth is unstoppable, and Stuttgart looks very unimpressive so far to be honest. Shaky reception and apart from Rivers, who is also not really amazing so far, nobody is reliable in attack.

or you can do that lol

If Stuttgart stays healthy, they shouldn't have any problem in the Bundesliga.
Emonts and Nemeth
-
If Stuttgart keeps playing like this, some of the 6100 people are not going to come to another match of them
But OTOH Potsdam's performance is really flawless so far
-
Wow. Potsdam on fire!
They are just so so good. Stuttgart on the other hand is really disappointing at the moment. So many brilliant players but they don't look like a team (yet).
I don't get why Aleksandersen does not bring Kohn for a while because obviously Potsdam is well prepared for Bongaerts play...

I don't think Bongaerts is the problem, when she gets the chance to play her game she is doing well with the MBs, but with Stuttgart's poor reception she is too limited in her options. Main problem IMO is Stuttgart's terrible serving, so many mistakes and no pressure
-
Jasper's defense on pos.6 is amazing, she's always in the right position and has great ball control, so she creates many counterattack opportunities for Potsdam

is there a chinese link for game?

Are you sure? Potsdam look better on paper, comparing starting 6 to starting 6

I agree that Bongaerts was playing ok, but I think you need to try everything if you have a bad game like today. Mix it up, see what happens. I also wonder about Keller, none of the other OHs were playing well, still she got no playing time except for serving. Alexandersens confidence in her seems really low.

Supercup:
Stuttgart - Potsdam 1:3 (20:25 15:25 25:20 16:25)
MVP: Sarah van Aalen
So Potsdam wins the first title in the club's history
And fully deserved, great performance by the whole team! Every player did her job well, and I'm totally OK with van Aalen as MVP because she distributed the game very well, but her team's reception and defense also made life fairly easy for her.
For Stuttgart, only Bongaerts and the middles were good. Rivers was not bad but not a decisive factor, Künzler was ok, but Lee was simply disastrous and Koskelo provided no stability.

Keller's transfer to Stuttgart never made any sense to me, even in Vilsbiburg she wasn't a factor.

The main reason for sure is because she is german...its the same with Wezorke...
but who knows..maybe both will surprise...

MVP: Sarah van Aalen
Well deserved, she was great today!

Most of Stuttgart spectators stayed after the match was finished and we applauded for a nearly flawless performance by Potsdam - I am sorry, that Stuttgart had such a bad day, not really putting up a fight - not well done for the spectators. Indeed the core issues of Stuttgart were a shaky receiption, lack of pressure in service and a Simone Lee, who had her worst day in a long time...
