I didn't watch the game, but how did Alsmeier get the MVP award instead of Ruddins? Her stats are great
and they are all better than Alsmeier's
Possibly because Hindriksen was Alsmeier's assistant coach in NT all summer, not Ruddins'

They should let someone else to give the mvp awards and not the coaches…
And of course stop giving mvp to the loser team.
Dresden started to play ok the moment Pallag left the court...she had no connection with the rest of the team. I still hope Dresden tries to find a strong attacking OH maybe around Christmas but I don't think so...
Berger really gets better match by match.
I saw Berger last year during her time replacing Rivers during her few longer runs. And I'm really impressed with what Waibl has got out of her so far. He has given her a lot of confidence and boosted her spirit.

How come Alsmeier gets the MVP while ruddins has such a great stats?
Tutku Burcu seems to be terrible as expected
I hope we'll keep getting more of those highlight clips throughout the season

This weekend the 1/8th finals of German Cup will be played. Most interesting matches should be Suhl-Münster, Erfurt-Straubing and Vilsbiburg-Potsdam (if Vilsbiburg can recover their sick players in time, which I doubt...).
according to this, Elles Dambrink is going to move to a "top club in Germany"
I dont know if I'd consider it a top club, but Vilsbiburg just followed her on IG

Vilsbiburg won both twice German Championship and Cup and has a plausible (financial) plan to increase strength the years coming, I think, you can label them as such.

Doesn't Suhl need an opposite as their second OPP suffered ACL?
They were 5th last season, so they might count as a "top club" as well

I think Schwerin also is possibility, because they only have 3 outside hitters and Neuhaus can play as outside hitter too. Tutku isn't the most opposite either...

Cup 1/8 final
Erfurt - Straubing 3:0 (22, 25, 26)
https://live.volleyball-bundesliga.de/2022-23/Women/8106.pdf
MVP: Hanna Hellvig / Valbona Ismaili
Straubing without setter Michalewicz (injured) and MB Andersson (sick), so Nicholson had to play as MB. In 3rd set Straubing was leading 21:16 but couldn't close it.
