I don't know much details, but apparently team owner would like to rebuild this club. There are rumors that they will also be playing in czech league next season.

The 2020-21 season hasn't been played there at all. This year (2021/22) they had only 4 teams competing.
The federation is aiming to have 8 teams in the next years, but it won't happen soon.

Volleyball.it has 20 fixed spots including the russians, saying they will be admitted if sanctions are lifted before Sep 1st. That would leave no places for the teams from the qualification rounds though so that is weird.

In case the sactions are litfed before Sep 1st, CEV will change the number of participating teams from 20 to 24.

CEV cancels the draws during playoffs
The matches between the clubs classified in the 2nd knockout phase (the 5 first-placed teams of the 5 groups in the quarterfinals, the 5 runners-up and the best third-placed in a preliminary "round of eight" which will promote the last three teams destined to play the quarterfinals) will be defined on the basis of the overall ranking in the first phase (wins, points, set quotient, points)

Pool C is really tough. 4th is probably Crvena Zvezda Srbija

Novara look weaker than last year, at least on paper. Potsdam maybe can stole them point or two.
Crvena Zvezda was really unlucky here, they had high hopes for season but this is tough group to advance. There is option to lose in second round and go to D group, but that is risky.
