I want Plummer or Tishi Boskovic to win this cup.

What's the logic behind the qualification system btw? 5 teams directly to the quarters don't make any sense for me. I know this is also Italy's system but still flop.

I just stumbled upon the slots allocation for 2024:

I wonder why France is ahead of Germany in the rankings. How does Ukraine manage to be close to Germany?
Is there any complete explanation how this works?
France's advantage might be that they had two teams in all three years. So if it's total points then that might explain why France is ahead of Germany. But then Ukraine's points should be much lower than Germany's.
The volleyball competitions regulations did not really clarify this for me.

Apparently you get 2 points for a win, 1 for a loss and 10/8 bonus points per round in CL.

That would make sense, because some teams needed to go through qualification phase. For example last season Prometey played 10 games (4 won) and Dresdner played only 6 games (3 won)
CL 2022:
Prometey - 4 games won, 6 lost
Dresdner - 3 games won, 3 lost
Mulhouse - 1 game won, 5 lost
Beziers - 2 games won, 4 lost

You're probably right, it's the qualification points that do it for Ukraine.
It doesn't make sense at all to just add all points and not adjust for whether it's qualification or main phase and whether a country has 1,2 or 3 participants. But we shouldn't expect sensible decisions from the CEV...

I think Germany suffers from two drawbacks: some years ago neither Schwerin ("not cost-effective") nor Stuttgart (not affordable) took part in CL and in Corona times one year was likely cancelled overall, when Stuttgart qualified for the quarters, so that success didn't count officially. Therefore VBL (German league) is underrated now, partly due to own fault, partly due to bad luck. I hope, with this years result ranking will improve for the next CL season.

Turin (Italy) is going to be host of CEV CL finals.

It's funny how every now and then there are a bunch of people claiming she's too old, past her prime, not good anymore etc etc, but whenever it counts she goes out there and delivers world class performances
