  • Has anyone registered at the site from the AVC FB site that says you can watch all the matches live and in HD. If so are the streams any different from the ones on the FB feed? The feed streams are nice quality but single stationary side court camera

  • Wow thanks ! That's a whole new ballgame

  • I've checked SMMSport and that TVA Sport channel for a better full match replay of the JPN v CHN. Maybe one doesn't exist but I'd re-watch that match if there was

I'm going to enjoy JPN v TPE. I couldn't wake up for the live stream. No spoilers !

  • With one final day of group matches left, Japan, Thailand and Korea who are all undefeated have just qualified for next year's Women's U19 World Championship. And I think China have also qualified too. This is because even if Kazakhstan were to defeat China 3-0 in their last group match and be levelled with each other on wins and match points, China would still have the better sets ratio.

  • Japan's libero playing without knee pads is awkward. She's pretty good though. Dives like a man

is it Japan vs Philippines ? I won’t tell you who won, in case you went to sleep before the match ended, but I think you can guess.

The Philippines may not be the strongest side here, but you know what, I think they’re the

Happiest team here. Laughing, screaming and jumping up and down when they make a kill or a block, and enjoying every moment.

    :dance6:

  • Yes, that's what I was watching. I was going to post a spoiler, and then thought I'd wait. I was liking PHI's energy a lot and hoping for them. Then the third set seemed pretty competitive. My spoiler was: competitive until 15–15 ... and then 15–25 :(

I thought a few reserves were playing in the third ....PHI were leading 15-14, when Japanese coach sent in no.1 and no. 10. Talk about effective substitution :woohoo:

  • Semifinals are:

    Korea v China

    Japan v Thailand

Japan and Korea haven't lost a set yet. That's likely to be the Final, but Korea v China is going to be a tough match. Could go either way

Korea looks typically jumpy fun strong but I didn't watch enough of them to single any one out

Japan's setter and libero seem competent but none of their killers stand out to me. OH #5 Omori is their leading scorer by far but she's not dazzling

Haha, I didn't notice that happened at that time. Japan did pretty well with the dub sub and such throughout. Their reserves were their tall players

  • They have similar attacking styles. the Chinese are taller, but Koreans more mobile and they aren’t small either, a couple are 6’2” . The Korean setter is more skilful, I think. Both teams aren’t as consistent as say, the Japanese, and it depends on who can keep their unforced errors down :|

It’s 1.30am Sunday morning over here so I need to rest to have enough energy to watch tomorrow’s semi finals.....talk again soon
