I'm curious if Budowlani are so bad or the girls were so much tired.
Gran Canaria deserved to win this game. However, Budowlani finished their match on Monday after 11 PM (5 sets league game) and they had to travel to the airport on Tuesday at 3 AM
That means they didn't have much (or any) time to sleep. Of course they could sleep during the flight, but still the schedule is kind of crazy this year. -

Anyway, last minute travelling with different airport strikes is really risky.
I remember that some time ago (last year?) the referees couldn't make it to Istanbul on time and they were replaced by local referees.

I blame Poland federation, its ridiculous to shedule their match in monday. Like they dont want polish teams to do good in europe.

As far as I know, Gran Canaria offered to play both matches in the same city (in Poland), but they didn't reach an agreement...

That's Budowlani. I don't like their management
I remember that few years ago they didn't want to reschedule a league game with Trefl Sopot. Sopot had to play Sunday evening against them and on Tuesday CL game in Italy. -

idk what is worse, to refuse such a offer or to try to play 2 games away.
Of course we dont know expanse comparison (hosting vs traveling).
I guess Budowlani will not sleep at Canaria, they are already in the plane back
