Wang Yunlu is not even from Jiangsu...
as for @everyone in this thread, if you're single, get a partner who looks out for you like cai bin looks out for diao linyu.

What does WYL has over CB or anyone in the coaching staff? She has been written off by 🇨🇳🏐fans over and over. She can’t jump high and when she jumps she seems heavy and slow. Hopefully somebody of authority in the 🇨🇳🏐 orders him that she is not good enough for the NT. DLY (the setter) was pretty bad today and she cannot be the main setter.
Throwback to this match where An Jiajie stepped into the main coach's shoes without the main players against Turkey. Yao Di was the main setter, and the other players who are not usually in the starting line-up pulled their weight. Liu Yanhan was a good performer in this match: she hit with confidence and good court awareness, and is what WYL should be / could be but is not.
Too bad Cai bin will never give up on Diao Linyu
Ain't that the truth. You would think Diao gained something valuable from being in the wide roster during Lang Ping's time and had two amazing setters to learn from (Ding and Yao), but not.....
I know there are currently no players that reach even half of their seniors' calibre (i.e. Zhu, Yan, Ding, etc), and the younger players might not be very good yet, but this is the time for a fresh start. This is the time to give a chance to the younger players who might not have proven their weight on court, but to bet on them would be much better than to just suffer the same fate of having the same old players whom you know are not performing to standard?
Look at Japan: they played young players like Araki (MB) and Wada (OP) who had just joined the senior NT this year, yet they've already shown they got what it takes. Especially Wada, she did very well against USA in their 5-set match.
If China doesn't get at least Top 8 (same as last year) or go into the SFs, I say trash this coach. He has had his chance.

If Cai Bin is the standard for anything, he is the standard for a person who still holds you high even though you're falling down, down, down...

disagree; wang yunlu will never have the physicality of liu yanhan.

thanks for the clip! I really miss watching LYH and also the uninjured and confident GXY!!
I hope she recovers well and at least given the opportunity to rest..
agree with many here.. I don’t even know why Wang YL is even playing. Her passes, ball reception, and attacks are not NT quality. There is def a lack of consistency. I wonder if her teammates secretly agree with us on this one.. lol
It seems we aren't the only fans that noticed something is not right...

Thanks for the link / news about the opinions of the fans in 🇨🇳. Hopefully CB will listen and give the bench players the time to play and get the experience of actual competitions against top teams in the world. As well as call up potential players to play in the nt. We all can see WYL did her best, but it was not good enough. Some said / say to give her another chance. She has been given lots of chances and her performances were disappointing especially in crucial situations. Time is against her since she is not young. Better to give the younger players the opportunities.
There's a rumor that Duan Fang might join week 3. Not sure what she brings to the team since she's already past her form.

World Championships are every two years now.
Also Olympic qualification for LA 2028 has been determined.

Changes are always interesting...for me having WCHs once every 2 yrs is good because it means more volleyball to watch. Of course it will be more enjoyable if the team can win tournaments like in 2015-2019.

🤦🏻♀️ What is CB 🤔? Wouldn’t mind if she is the like of KYK? If this is true, it is showing how incompetent he and his poor judgment. He cannot go on; he should be fired. This is really going to be the downfall of 🇨🇳 🏐 NT (women) and might go down the same road as the men’s 🇨🇳🏐NT.☹️
I’m hearing there are no changes in the team for week 3

Unfortunately Cai Bin will likely keep the same roster for the quarterfinals too.
Of all the top NTs China is the only one not training their next generation of young players...

Someone call 911 now, but not for me
So as it stands, China is in 6th place, Japan is in 7th. If all goes well in the remaining matches, they should be able to go on to the Quarter-Finals, correct?
Cai Bin you better not mess this up... I need you to channel that undying support you have for WYL / DLY into the NT and keep them en route to the QFs
I'd change my name to fire cai bin 2 if China fails to make it to F8. just no. VNL can't go on without any Asian teams on it.
