This "slight" injury to Orro comes with very strange timing...
However, the transparency and communication methods of the federation regarding the women's national team are at such low levels that one is always led to think that there is something underneath...
Let's hope that Orro can leave for Lodz together with the team...
Putting the team in the hands of Bosio, with a backup setter like Gennari behind her, that isn't up to par, would be at this moment a real disgrace...

Egonu deciding to join the Eurovolley even if she was told she'll be benched was the best idea really. It showed how flawed this team is without her. Losing the bronze to Ned is probably a wake up call. And them losing the OQT spot will solidify that.

I hope they win against Thailand and Germany... Any defeat outside the games against the USA and Poland will be a very serious danger to miss advancing to the Olympics for ranking.

If the injury is real, I wonder why she was kept on the field when it was clear we didn't have a chance of turning the match around. If this is another case of horrible PR, well, I honestly don't know what to say.

Hande had a similar injury, at first phase it didnot look serious but then she suffer from that injury for almost a year. She can play with it but it was affecting her game. She could not get any court time for 2-3 weeks iirc.

Yeah, it was more a premise than a real comment. I should have added that while the bit about Turkey is typical Lucchetta, the rest objectively focus on things that every now and then we think about. I mean, unfortunately some of the people surrounding Paola do give the vibes of persons just interested in milking every single euro out of her.
