Haven't fully grasped this yet but when Fukuoka #11 MB goes back to serve #10 MB plays offensive OP, and does take a good number of swings there, but it's still all about the pins, and #11 MB stays on court and plays back row

JWCPE is so peaking. They're on fire and they know it. Very intimidating ... but Fukuoka played them well, and without frustration

Consolation for me is that Fukuoka v Kobe Shinwa will be an enjoyable match. Fukuoka v Tokai, probably not as much. I think the way JWCPE is playing right now they have a chance against Tokai. Willpower

The Finals, starting at 9:30am local time go:

2. Women's Bronze -- Kobe Shinwa v Fukuoka
3. Women's Final -- Tokai v JWCPE
4. Men's Final

I imagine the Women's Bronze will start about 12:30pm or so, and the Women's Final somewhere between 3-4:00pm.

I'm sad Fukuoka doesn't have a shot at Gold but these matchups are the best entertainment value. I've never seen JWCPE playing with the joie de vivre or whatever French they are playing with these past few matches

Tokai is ridiculously better than JWCPE but if JWCPE play them with their guts on their knee pads there's an outside chance at an upset

Kind of predictable: JWCPE came out on fire, mostly had a 2–3 point lead up to 20, and then lost 23–25. Tokai crushed the next two sets 16–25, 17–25

JWCPE lost their joie de vivre, or whatever French. It was sad. They kept their smiles mostly but didn't haul ass laps around the court after scoring a point. They made silly blunders like lifting a sky ball that didn't make it over the net
