Weird match by Italy. Despite the 18 ACES (8 from Merit alone!!!!), they didn't play well during the first 2 sets. Too many silly mistakes. Hope they improve for the quarterfinals and semis.

I have no words to say about this U19 NT without many important players (Wang Yin-di, Wang Yi-fan, Shan Lin-qian and Chen Xi-yue) .

After 4 sets, Turkey's setter is their 2nd best scorer
Mostly due to 6 aces, but still it's unusual.Safronova's technique reminds me a bit of the young Kosheleva.

Most likely, watching this group now. I would not be surprised if china lose first stronger opponent in playoffs. This group is not challenging at all.

Turkey finished their group without losing any single set. But honestly group was very weak and if we eleminate next game, I wouldn’t be surprised.
As I wrote we were almost eleminating. Actually Korea has more 5th set experience but we could survive.

only good generation I remember from germany in under age categories (i didn't follow 2009) was in u18 2015,I saw playing that generation
