having a broadcaster is huge. AU was a low risk investment for broadcasting. However, I think that for volleyball, AU is on the way out. This is due to the fact that the sport is predicated on teams and not individual winners.

Santos was great too but I remember Carrillo 's back to back aces many times, especially when she was playing in Uralochka. Carillo, at the age of 16, was best server of the world championship.

Among non-cuban players, Sokolova or Neslihan comes to my mind. And Godina from early 2000s

I used the translator from Greece to English and it says "AEK is contemplating to fire the players" but at least according to the translator it doesnt explicitly announce that its a done deal. Do you know if the measure is already implemented?

It is not official but the article says that is a done matter. Wrong translation.

İlkin does not need to prove anything to anyone. She already proved herself to whole nation and to world volleyball.

I guess you need to follow closer the things happening in Galatasaray. Things will not be the same as of next season. It seems that another done deal is Katarina Lazovic (from Feb 2024 and onwards) and many more to come...
