    I don't even know her

Retired OG Haruka Mori will also join them due to the absence of Hammy and Araki

Tickets via Pia are already sold out

  • SPRINGS unofficial libero during the Turkey friendly will be Nonoka Uechi of Kanoa

She was Gunma Bank's libero when Gunma won their two V2 Championships a few years ago. She took a couple years off (maternity?) and just joined The KLF this year. I'm a fan-ish

  • ive always wondered if people unironically enjoy watching nishimura play because for the life of me i dont feel the satisfaction one should feel when watching a sport they like whenever i see her play

Nishimura unironically blew my mind during V League seeing her play with the team for the first time. I'm not sure if it's the setting or what but it's near impossible to one up Mana Toe she had an immense energy and was Saga's local Energizer bunny. Nishimura doesn't have that energy but she got everything done and it looked effortless too which was good in its own way something I always thought Rena could do. However it only took me her first 2 matches during VNL to not see that effortlessness transition well in the NT which is understandable since this is her first time and given that's just how she is not the upbeat type.

  • Yuko Sano was not the ultra hyper flashy type of libero either that's why she never had as much popularity as say Arisa Sato but she was the most reliable in the team even more reliable than Saori and she came through during the most crucial moments that's where the real thrill was

Arisa Sato was popular in Japan because she was goodlooking. I'm not saying she's a terrible libero but her popularity was 70% her looks. You can ask any Japanese fan.

  • Was Sato really an aggressive libero when Miyashita took pretty much most of the damage from chasing balls during that era?

Nishimura is in NPC mode in the NT. Not outstanding but not flop either. Still Kojima >

That's some selective memory. Sato had finesse. Every dive was smooth. She didn't just tumble chaotically like Miyashita did.

  • JAPAN - Asian Championship 3rd Place

Yuki Nishikawa did okay in the tournament. Not back on board with her tho. She's blinky and does stuff like hits an overpass out of bounds or a free ball into the net. At the top of the NT food chain that's the kind of thing that can be the difference between winning a set 25–23 and losing it 24–26

But congrats to Yuki on best OH award

I'm blindly in love with Miiku Iwasawa so I would have given her best Libero

But congrats to Manami on best L award. Nice to see her on court again even if split screen

Still want to know where Fuyumi's pipe attack came from, and why Nonaka didn't play more instead of Nakagawa. It's not like Miyu used her height advantage to be a blocking machine. She wasn't horrible, and has long feet

  • Nakagawa sadly has not improved since 2017. How she still gets chosen for NT despite participating as a sub in like 3 games the entire season is just tallgirl privilege at this point.

Nishikawa is only able to control the game at this level. Filler autopilot style.

Hopefully Miku (Otomos daughter) will go beyond what these 2 cannot

  • this was a B team as the A team was in training. Maybe a player or two gets promoted to A team for qualifying.

the 3rd place got them in the next world Championship.
