Vakif reception sucks because Ayca is trying to cover for Frantti in reception when she is front row, but Ayca just isn’t type of libero who can cover that much while Frantti standing on the side. I understand Frantti isn’t best passer and needs to be ready to attack but this doesn’t work either.
But Vakif did the same to cover Bajema last season. I think Ayca just needs more time to play to get better feeling on court, she was on bench in most of the past summer.

Stysiak was Thompson's "substitute" last year at Milano, right? But so far she's impressed me more, also her defensive skills were great in the beginning of the first set
Arina looks so mature in her playing as always. For Vakif it's nice to see Frantti have a nice start in attack, and Bahar looked good blocking-wise!

Yes & no. They were both very inconsistent in Milano, so neither was the definite starter until the semi final series when Thompson suddenly evolved to beast mode to keep pouring 30/35+ pts till the final match. But then she completely disappeared again in the summer while Stysiak had a much better NT season and she carries her good form to this first club season match.

Agree, but Arina front row is the safest option when pass is not good.. and passing was disastreus whole set to play MB.

I agree she’s going to her a bit much but the passing is limiting that. Plus meliha is not really an option in attack from pipe so it’s not like she has much choice. I do agree that she could mix it up more on good passes tho

With Gabi/Busa on court passing was literally perfect, and Gabi/Frantti provides great attack as Frantti was the most consistent scorer next to Gabi but their passing line is just so shaky.
They can work it out this game as Fener is playing horrible but JT isn’t gonna be good option for this season as she is used to faster playstyle imo, and they need 2 good attacking OHs if OP isn’t showing up
